Art Narrative
Ola: Can we ever know the thoughts of animals? Probably not. However, that does not stop us from commentating for our animals and children. This is a playful artwork with splashes of color highlighting this beautiful hyacinth (blue) macaw.
Interesting tidbits about hyacinth macaw; they are a parrot native to central and eastern South America. There are only about 4,300 left in the wild. It takes seven years for them to reach sexual maturity which means recovery of their population is slow moving if we don’t protect these amazing creatures. Ola – awakening your imagination.
