Art Narrative
Fire Opal Flow: Opals grow by filling in cavities in the earth and sometimes take on the shapes of the space or the objects that surround them while buried in the ground. (IGS – International Gem Society) They are noted to be the stone of inspiration that enhances imagination and creativity. In this piece, “Fire Opal Flow”, the play of color, “or fire”, flows across the canvas in a kaleidoscopic display of yellows, oranges, and pinks with shifts of blue and veins of gold.
