Insatiable Itch: [captured image in Galveston, TX] The Little Blue Heron is found among the marshes and estuaries of the South East. They are often camouflaged by the emergent vegetation along the shallow water’s edge. This small Heron initially starts off with white plumage the first year of life and transitions into dark moody blues and purples in adulthood.
